Satay Price War coming to GBB?

I was at Satay by the Bay this evening. First I was curious the Teppanyaki stall was also sellig satay with free rice. Then I walked to the satay stalls and found them doing the same. I wonder what's next.

You can get satay set for $7 including rice (ketupat). That is only 40 cents more at the hawker centre.

I hope in trying to out do each other with freebies and may be lower prices later, they all gain from greater patronage.
