Growing Up in Queenstown
Collected this book I had reserved from the library yesterday. It is about the experience of the author growing up in Queenstown in the 60s and 70s. It encompassed the era of many of my friends, wifey and myself especially the 70s. I thought even if I have no time to savor it slowly at least the kids would have a better idea what growing up was like for their parents. We don't plan to take them back to China to see their ancestral village. The furthest I had gotten for that was a video of the place my uncle prepared when he visited. What's important for our kids is the experience of their immediate before generation.
Perhaps I should just buy the book or better the eBook if available.
