The Rain Came :-)

It rained yesterday and we even had hail in Jurong and Bukit Batok. I downloaded this pic last Friday because like many of us, I was already wishing for a cool respite from the hot weather and haze.

On the other hand our neighbor up north is having it bad. The weather map show the haze is already at KL too.

I tell myself our government have responded far better than the Malaysians. On the other hand see how much larger and richly endowed they are compared to us. We play in different leagues. Our standard must be kept high and higher. Criticize yes, especially with intelligence but don't run down our government.

A smarter government will provide us the information to help us make constructive suggestions to them. Mostly we only have enough information to point out their shortfall. They ought to help us help them. Along the way they will discover how creative and helpful some (not me) are at communicating these messages and learn from us.

The haze experience shows us that government need to run smarter, faster and better. Sounds like that awful Lim Swee Say. They should pop their vitamins first before telling us to. It would go down much better.

Just provide good clear information and leave the stupid scoffers to us to deal with them. Have more faith and be amazed how natural selection will work.
