NEL breakdown: Lui Tuck Yew, it's time to chop heads
No point expressing your disappointment in public. How many times do you want to do this?
I don't know about you but at this rate it is either the management of these transport companies or the minister that would lose his job eventually. What have you not tried yet? If you have missed something obvious until now, then you are under performing and incompetent. I am sorry, but it may be it is time to chop heads in these transport firms. You are running out of time and as a former rear admiral you know it is time to take a page from Sun Zi and fire a few people. And forget about making mistakes firing the wrong guy. This is call bad luck and most of us have had our share of that in life. That has often been more decisive than meritocracy but that's life.

Why not ask him to fire himself? He is the one who refuse to take ownership of the problem by nationalising public transport. Enough of finger pointing. The buck stops at him.
ReplyDeleteWhy not try something radical?
ReplyDeleteLike hire a CEO with 20 years of experience in running a subway train system.
Many American cities have MRT trains like Singapore.
I'm pretty sure there are many executives and engineers who can help us clean up our mess.
