A Decade of Google AdSense

Just got this from Google. Has it been 10 years already? That's about the time I started by e-enterprise. I signed up with AdSense in 2007 and it has paid for our trips to America with plenty left over :-)

I am very sure it has made countless people better off than me. But has it also caused many in ways that aren't clear, to lose their jobs? Probably.

As we have moved from a 'defined benefit' to a 'defined contribution' world people are forced to look after themselves instead of relying on their employer or government. Sadly many are not ready and even more thought they were but aren't. This has saddled us with the sorry socio-economic state we are in now. Nobody knows how to turn the corner ahead and what the view is like when we get there.
