This ill advised idea will not end well for its followers. The problem as usual is that you can't forecast when or else it wouldn't even be a phenomena.
As a bit player it could stick around indefinitely but the entry into danger begins when it begins to become exponentially popular. The ride to supernova has begun.
My wish is that it blow up sooner rather than later. This will minimize damage and hurt fewer people. On the other hand it could grow to be a hundred even a thousand times its present size. I hope regulators would stop it a long way before it gets to that point.
Guru following is a dumb idea which too many people will learn the hard way. Put in the hard work of doing your own homework. Own your thinking and decisions.
Trading is gambling - and not matter how one tries to justify that it is investing, in this casino-capitalism world, fundamentals hardly hold - even if they do, only for a millisecond. It is especially true when there is no real production or consumption resulting from the act. It is a wonder when people can make so much money, will they want to share their success with others. The road to monetary success is always built on greed and greed will dictate "one for one, and none for others" I rather follow a guru who teaches me to learn how to live a proper life respecting others and ready to give a helping hand whenever it is within one's ability to do so(as in Proverbs 3:27 "whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it". I am sure other religions hold similar sage advice)
