The lesson here is to be more careful with what the popular site therealsingapore.com put up. I thought I vaguely recalled that this article was faked and that MP Irene Ng wasn't the author in some headline yesterday. No doubt the community will flesh this out more clearly in the days ahead and I shall do the needful here. Now I need to get to the bottom of this.
I just found this in the ST and that's good enough for me to act decisively on this post.
And here is what it looked like before with those untrue lines removed.
What took Irene Ng so long to discover and act on this?
Update: June 30, 10:10am
A case of stolen property with plagiarism. We must learn to live and cope with these sort of things successfully. There is no turning back.
Well done. And she voted for 6.9 million people. What a hypocrite she is.
ReplyDeleteWhat a change of tune from her previous post?!!! WTF
ReplyDeleteSomebody must have told her to toe the party line after being briefed that Indo is the top 5 largest exporter of consumer goods (made by these palm oil companies) to Singapore.
Clearly, she has backtracked now and is looking very stupid on her part.
In other words, no blame game, no shame game = No Accountability.
The quo is status. She has spoken. Enough said.
she got her ex-country to run & retire to, unless most of us.
ReplyDeleteher singdollars can exchange for a lot a lot of RM you know!
The article was ripped from someone else and submitted by an imposter
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. I thought I vaguely saw some headline attesting to that yesterday.
