How times have changed. Something like this would be unthinkable not that long ago. These days people want their leaders to be closer to them and approachable too. It was good to see current President Tony Tan dressed in Olympics gear instead of a suit. What a contrast when he met and exchanged greetings with the German President who was all suited up. Our leaders are learning fast.
Today I saw in the media Prince William and Kate Middleton at the bleaches cheering the English team like any ordinary spectators. I can't imagine the good queen doing that. And in the Guardian there is Kim Jong Un the North Korea taking it all in in a roller coaster ride.
All spotted in just one day.
