From the ST yesterday. Feels so unreal that the headline must proclaim it with apostrophes. Forget about these meaningless headline numbers. What matters are the details. Population averages no longer have much meaning when there is so much diversity and gaps.
Projecting the numbers to 2050 is a foolhardy act. There are bound to be violent discontinuities between now and forty years later.
The responsible editor deserves a promotion or demotion as he has decided to tell us that Singapore is no.1,with or without PAP in 2050.
