Asus T100 for wifey

Bought wifey's the Asus Transformer T100 with 2 more years extended warranty for about $667 tonight.

We are going to condition the battery tonight and work on setting it up tomorrow. This step is always a hassle but you don't change computers every month.

I wonder if this machine would be suitable for the girl going to university. It might be smarter to have and use several devices. One PC per person is the old way of doing things. Now we live off the Cloud and select the device for different occasions right? Those who did not come of age in the PC age never have this problem. They view the PC completely differently from the rest of us.

    1. Minister Ng is wrong. He is lucky most people are ignorant about economics. From that perspective, he was talking nonsense. Why not use simpler language? Why not just say Singaporeans are living beyond their means which is far simpler than saying high cost of living caused by higher aspirations. When politicians say things that you cannot see and touch, be careful. They are pulling wool over our eyes. The problem with us is that our productivity is low and we are getting uncompetitive. So you will find that costs go up faster than incomes. Of course I oversimplify since I am not prepared to write a term paper on this subject...so people complain my pay hasn't gone up but the same goods and services now cost more and we know the CPI is an unhelpful indicator.
