Sigh! common sense is rare among our government leaders isn't it? Not happy to affirm that my guess was right. What for? We are all losers, and that is a small example of common sense thinking. First know on which side your bread is buttered.
I got this on AsiaOne, a reader who is a regular public transport user, not me which I have to simulate "common sense" in me to work all these out earlier in my earlier post regarding the transport minister. Real life experience would always beat imaginative what-ifs of the mind which I had attempted earlier.
I quote from him writing in a forum for the minister's attention. Note the part I had highlighted. These are the sort of stuff if you are not a regular user, you can only obtain by chatting up people even as he rides the system just a few times. People follow routines and until you get to feel under the skin such routines you are self deceived thinking you have understood it.
The minister really ought to have chatted up some commuters as I suggested in the earlier post. Sigh! When all of them have no common sense, they can't tell that each other is lacking it! Not safe for Singapore. Now we all know the reason behind the reasons for those harebrained policies of the last few years.

Mr Lui
Getting around MRT at 745 am near Bt Gombak?
Feel chiak-luck (in trouble)?
Then, try getting to the city bound train on the East-West line from any stations east of Jurong East Interchange either at 7 am or 8 am
You may need bodyguards at some stations to stop anyone accidentally push you into the track.
Then try doing this for 3 months (as Minister, maybe you dont need to do it all the weekdays, just try Monday to Wednesday is OK)
Maybe you'll meet that dirty middle-aged man who like to cough (with an open mouth) in people's face, and then sniff and wipe his saliva with his hands and then grab the pole without cleaning his hands......
Or that lady in the 50s who like to poke people with her elbow to get them to move away.
Take their picture with your iphone 4
Then you sure got something to tell LHL and other Ministers in the cabinet meeting about what the SG minions are up to!
A bit like Chinese Emperor Yongzheng siah....
This morning 9.03am the MRT train literally threw out passengers at Lavender toward Bugis MRT when all the kind passengers tried to give way to alighting passengers, without re-entering train again. I think this will make people less gracious in future, thanks to the train driver who is not fair skinned guy, just for you to nabbed him. The PTC should not be so gracious to SMRT for their profused mistakes again!
