Dubai floods, Singapore too

The weatherman is spot on with this forecast. It was already anticipated last night when I checked.

No more, "I saw raindrops on my window, joy is like the rain..." Reflexively, I think of floods. Exactly how I felt when we were living in Dubai and it rained.

Singapore is slowly becoming more and more like other major cities, i.e., less and less special. We are getting there imperceptibly. Not exactly, some of us and we are in the minority can sense it.
