6000 hard steps built with love

I remember someone emailed this true story to me a couple of years ago. From the first pic, looks like they made a movie out of it. 

【愛情天梯】女主人公昨晚逝世 享年87岁

五十年前，重庆江津的刘国江和比他大10岁的徐朝清相爱，私奔到海拔1500米的深山老林。为让妻子安全出行，刘国江在悬崖峭壁上凿出6000多级“爱情天梯”，旷世情缘曾引发轰动世人。

2007年12月12日，72岁的刘国江老人因脑血管破裂猝然离世，剩下82岁的徐朝清老人黯然神伤。女主人公徐朝清大约在昨晚22时去世，享年87岁。
