Our conscience has found its voice

Our conscience has found its voice, it is not with the the WP or SDP or the NSP but in a young lady. The others are too worldly wise and grown up; too sophisticated and complex; in a word - too political. The clean pure voice of the people reaching into the core of who we are is Nicole Seah. She is down to earth and real. I hope she gets into parliament. If GCT is toppled, that is collateral damage for the rope PAP has created to hang themselves with. On paper the GRC is logical, in real life it is a millstone before its benefits can be realized!

Nicole Seah in her own words,

Background: The 24-year-old, who is contesting the Marine Parade GRC, said the resident told her how she could not afford an $80 deposit that was required over and above the rent for her flat. Worse, when she sought help from grassroots leaders, she was chided for the small amount.. Story link

"This is the kind of problem we have. We need a government who has a heart for Singaporeans."

"They (the PAP) do not have the mandate of heaven but the consent of the people... We must move towards the next phase of nation building to build a future that comes in more colours than white."

How can a country acts like a business and just say, "No hard feelings it is just business" It is a model that sacrifices us for the good of the business called Singapore.

If I put on the pragmatism of  the PAP why would I want George Yeo to speak for the young? Where do I have the time for him to learn the ropes? We already have such a person in Nicole Seah. No hard feelings George, it is just good old PAP business. What went out is coming back, although I wished it hits some other cabinet members than you. Inhumane government that only see people for their economic utility. Cut the lofty rhetoric.
