My salute to the woman and men of SCDF for their exemplary courage in their call to duty during the riot. Lt. Tiffany Neo was most impressive. SCDF had been badly disgraced by their former commissioner but their people on the ground could not be more different than their former boss.
At this COI we become acquainted with the valor, courage and judgement of our people in uniform under fire. No wonder the PM and DPM were so pleased with them. I can still see in my mind's eye senior officers stood behind whilst the PM, Ho Ching and junior officers had breakfast together. What a sight. Now all of us can be very proud of them.
