Bertha Henson has a good write up on this which I read when I was at the car workshop waiting for them to fix my right head lamp this morning. Yep, this set of wheels is now more than three years old and these little failures are to be expected.
See Yahoo article.
Update: 12:30pm.
Just as well. I always love to borrow other's writing.
- Kuan Tek Seang let's put it this way, whatever NTU's administration say about the roadmap for tenureship has been violated many times over ... you can go through their staff roster to find many who have not been given tenure but is still around years after the supposedly need-to-leave-after-one-year-grace.
Aaron, you said there is probably a better candidate? go through their tenure decision. There are many undeserving staff who got tenure ahead of many who didn't. Many of these staff have in the meantime gotten tenure or even professorship elsewhere. dig deeper, and you might find uglier stuff about why this is happening.
all these did not blow up with Cherian's case, this has been something which started happening a few years ago. A lot of affected staff how wrote to PMO, MOM and the likes but nobody have been brave enough to step in to investigate.
