I am all set to go learning how to develop apps in Android! The next task is to duplicate this on my new machine as this old PC is too unstable. This environment is so much better than the Microsoft IDE I had to work with long ago. I am using the open source Eclipse for Java.
Eclipse is a good selection for this, even I started with it. If required you can extend Eclipse with some additional features.
