There are many short clips but I could only view about three at this time. Of course my thoughts are connecting up my recent posts on this blog. You can understand why some people hate Margaret Thatcher, and when the time comes to send off Lee Kuan Yew, it would be quite unlike saying good bye to Goh Keng Swee. I hope it would not be as humiliating as it was for Margaret Thatcher.
There has got to be a better way to organize our society. We didn't try to climb out of here. We were doing better and then we fell into this!
thanks for directing our attention to the work of the students. Maybe our grassroot helpers spend better time instead of only showing the "nice things" to their MPs. And indeed, it can be very disgusting at times when I hear of people boasting about organising activities and raising funds to help poor people beyond our shores. Once I was told by a church member that her group collected so much money and cannot make up its mind as to which country to send to and who to help abroad. Not sure if they are doing all this to satisfy their own ego or pursue some other personal agenda - surely they can just look at their own backyard
