Boy, this is a powerful YouTube video. All emotional but who cares, it resonates with one too many! So cleverly done. A lesson to the PAP that people aren't just walking heads but a fully alive person has feelings too. Thank you so much for caring. Well so much for the ruling party. If we look into the future, if another party was ruling, if they also happened to be good eventually we will also get here. They are all the same, only separated by time and circumstances. So never give up your vote and always have the power to hold the government accountable regardless of which party is running the show.
In the next five to ten years, at best we would be exchanging one PAP for another with a different logo; a hammer perhaps. More likely, it would be worse because these upstarts have no blinking idea how we have put the whole machinery together. To deserve our support they cannot just be credible. They have to be clearly better than the incumbent, and that was how the PAP came to power long ago.
The Gen Ys are really smart and so promising, but I hope they are smarter than they appear now. They will need to because they will never be able to claim to have been there, done that. If every successive generation is so smart, why do you think history is always repeating or rhyming to itself? Would they be wise, and not just intelligent?
